Something Good, written by Robert Munsch, is a funny book. This story is about a little girl who goes to the grocery store with her dad. Like me, she wants to buy sugary foods but her dad does not allow it. Tyya, the little girl, reminds me of Amelia Bedilia because she takes things literally. I would recommend this book to all my friends who like slap-stick humor!

The Junkyard Dog, written by Erika Tamar, was a great book. This book is about a 5th grader named Katie. One day, Katie was walking home from school and saw teenagers throwing rocks at a dog in a junkyard. So Katie goes home and tells her dad what she has seen. Katie explains that the dog has been threw a lot of pain. Secretly, she begins to take the dog food and water. If her dad finds out what she is up to, she will be in big trouble. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves dogs.

Amber Brown Sees Red is written by Paula Danziger. Everything in Amber's life is changing! Her over-active imagination is tricking her brain causes her to see red everywhere. Amber's dad moved to Paris and now every time he comes to visit, her parents end up fighting. Amber gets a haircut and it is so short she doesn't like it! Aunt Pam comes to visit and gives Amber a present. This book is super good! We would recommend this book to anyone whose parents are divorced!

Fish is Fish, written by Leo Lionni, is a book about a fish. The main character is a fish who has a tadpole as a best friend. The tadpole grows into a frog who hops out of the water to see the world. A few weeks pass and the frog returns. He tells the fish everything that he has seen. We enjoyed reading this book becaues it taught us a lesson that it is OK to be ourselves!

Amelia Bedeila 4 Mayor, written by Peggy Parish, is a super funny book. The main character, Amelia, is a housekeeper who works for Mr. and Mrs. Rogers. Amelia always takes things literally. For example, when Mr. Rogers suggests Amelia to "run for Mayor", she actually runs to the Mayor's office at City Hall. I would recommend this book to my friends who enjoy humor. I'm wondering if the other Amelia Bedeila books are this funny, too!
